The Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Zorlu Töre and Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu attended the 15th International Forum on Educational Management in Antalya.

The importance of raising youth that stand by national values was highlighted.

The Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu said education in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) means raising generations that idolized Atatürk and have national values that will reach the level of contemporary civilizations.

Speaking at the 15th International Education Management Forum held in Antalya, Çavuşoğlu stated that the forum is an important platform where innovative management practices in education can be discussed and stakeholders can share their knowledge and experiences.

Speaking about education in the TRNC, Çavuşoğlu said that the Turkish Cypriot people are the only people who were able to stay within the boundaries of the National Mission and establish a state.

Also speaking at the conference, Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Zorlu Töre said that there was no longer any meaning or point of resuming talks for a federal settlement in Cyprus.

He added that the only realistic model for a settlement was a two-state solution.

“We shall never abandon the TRNC nor give up Türkiye’s guarantees,” Töre said.
