The Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu, joining President Ersin Tatar, has also congratulated Eastern Mediterranean University, Near East University, and Cyprus International University for their recognition in the Times Higher Education rankings of the best universities globally.

In his message on Friday, Çavuşoğlu emphasized that the achievements of the three TRNC institutions reflect the development of higher education in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and underscore its growing international influence.

He noted that such recognition contributes to the advancement of higher education and brings the TRNC closer to its goal of providing students with a better future.

“In the field of education, these types of achievements highlight the academic quality and research capacity of our universities. The efforts made to equip our students with quality education are commendable,” Minister Çavuşoğlu stated in his remarks.

He expressed gratitude to all academic staff and students for their contributions during this process and wished for the continued success of the three universities noting that these achievements represent a significant step toward reaching the country’s educational objectives.
