Çavuşoğlu holds a variety of visits in Azerbaijan

The Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu continues with his contacts in Azerbaijan.

Çavuşoğlu met with the Chairman of the Science and Education Committee of the Azerbaijani National Assembly Bahtiyar Aliyev and Committee Members and discussed the possibilities of developing cooperation between the two countries in the field of education.

According to the statement made by the Ministry of National Education, the Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu met with the Chairman of the Science and Education Committee of the Azerbaijan National Assembly Bahtiyar Aliyev and Committee Members at the Azerbaijan National Assembly.

Chairman of the Azerbaijan – TRNC Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group MP Javanshir Feyziyev and members of the friendship group also attended the meeting, while TRNC Baku Representative Ambassador Ufuk Turganer, YÖDAK President Prof. Dr. Aykut Hocanın, ministry bureaucrats and university rectors were also present at the meeting.

During the meeting, issues such as the development of cooperation between the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Azerbaijan in the field of education, joint projects and academic exchange programs were discussed.

The importance of strengthening the historical and cultural ties between the two countries was also emphasized during the meeting.

Within the scope of his contacts, Minister Çavuşoğlu also visited the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and inaugurated the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus section in the corner where the works of the world states are exhibited.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Minister Çavuşoğlu emphasized that the TRNC should be represented more in international platforms in the field of science and education.

He also met with officials from the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan and exchanged ideas on cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, important steps were taken to develop joint projects in the field of science and education between the two brotherly countries and to increase future cooperation.
