The Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu also issued a message on Teacher’s Day.

In his message, Çavuşoğlu stated that they will continue to lead the way to the future with teachers who perform the world’s most sacred profession.

Çavuşoğlu expressed his best wishes to all teachers, who he said helped shape the future of the country by educating future generations.

“Atatürk, who emphasized that teachers are one of the most important elements of society, saw them as the ‘founders of the future’ and entrusted them with great responsibilities,” Çavuşoğlu said.

He thanked the teachers who fulfil this sacred duty and, without hesitation, take a leading role in guiding society in the struggle for the existence of the Turkish Cypriot people, during the pandemic, and in the most challenging times. Çavuşoğlu stated that they will continue to shed light on the future with the teachers who perform the world’s most sacred profession.
