The road that connects the Çayırova village to Bafra has been closed to traffic for a month due to road works.

According to the announcement made by the Directorate of Highways Department, traffic flow will continue from alternative routes.

The works carried out within the scope of the Highways Master Plan are scheduled to be completed by February 2.

Drivers have been warned to drive carefully and slowly for their own safety and to obey traffic signs and markers.

Meanwhile the Şht. Mustafa Ahmet Ruso Street in Lefkoşa is being asphalted today and this will continue until Sunday, January 5.

According to the information given by the Lefkoşa Turkish Municipality, the asphalting work to be carried out in cooperation with the Highways Department will be carried out in the direction from the roundabout located at the junction of Heydar Aliyev Street and Özker Özgür Street to the traffic lights located at the end of the Dr. Fazıl Küçük Boulevard.

In the statement, it was noted that the works will be carried out in the morning hours due to the cold weather conditions, “All our citizens are kindly requested to pay attention to traffic signs and markers during the asphalt work.”
