Ceremonies will be held on Saturday to commemorate those who fell during the struggle against the British Colonial Administration on January 27-28, 1958
Separate ceremonies will be held at the Lefkoşa Martyrs’ Monument and the Küçük Kaymaklı Cemetery on Saturday morning to mark the 66th anniversary of the resistance against British Colonial rule.
While the ceremony in front of the Lefkoşa Martyrs Monument will begin at 9 am, the second commemoration ceremony at the Küçük Kaymaklı Cemetery will begin at 9:30 am.
Prayers will also be held for the martyrs at the Yenişehir Martyrs Mosque in the evening.
