Civilian volunteers, companies, and members of the press who assisted the search and rescue efforts in the earthquake disaster in Türkiye are continuing to be awarded certificates and plaques for their services.

Bayrak Radio Television Corporation’s News department and the BRT teams who reported around the clock to keep everyone informed of the developments taking place, received certificates of appreciation at a ceremony held at the presidential palace on Wednesday.

A ceremony was held at the presidency to present certificates of appreciation to civil volunteers, companies, and members of the press who assisted in search and rescue efforts in the earthquake hit areas of Türkiye.

The ceremony began with a minutes silence in respect for those who lost their lives in the earthquake.

Delivering a short speech at the ceremony, President Ersin Tatar said that the earthquake in Türkiye and the suffering caused by the earthquake will never be forgotten and praised all those who assisted in the disaster.
