Champion Angels seek justice

Officials from the Champion Angels Association visited the Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Metin Feyzioğlu on Tuesday.

Meeting with the families who continue their search for justice for the Champion Angels, Turkish Ambassador Feyzioğlu said that they were justified in their search for justice.

He also noted that they are ready to support the families at any point to keep the memories of the Champion Angels alive.

Officials from the Champion Angels Association, who continue their quest for justice for the Champion Angels, paid a visit to Türkiye’s Ambassador to Lefkoşa Metin Feyzioğlu.

Speaking during the visit Ambassador Feyzioğlu said “We share your pain from the bottom of our hearts. I cannot say I understand this pain as it is not possible to understand it without experiencing it”.

Noting that time stopped for the families on February 6, Feyzioğlu said that the families’ priorities are now seeking justice.

“I am aware that another priority for you is to keep the memories of your children alive,” Feyzioğlu said, emphasizing that they are ready to support the families at any point to keep the memories of the Champion Angels alive.

He stated that their goal is to support the families, making the memories of the Champions a unifying force and ensuring that what happened is a lesson not to be forgotten and said, “We will support you in any way you wish.”

“You are absolutely right in your quest for justice. It is a matter that has been referred to the judiciary. I see that you are doing more than your part to put forward the allegation in the best way possible. I thank you for your follow-up. Türkiye will not allow them to remain just names on paper, and is following the developments,” said Feyzioğlu.
