Pupils from primary schools across the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus are continuing to pay visits to state and government officials as part of celebrations marking the 23rd of April National Sovereignty and Children’s Day.

Students visited parliament on Wednesday.

As part of a longstanding tradition on April 23, MPs in the Republic’s Assembly gave their seats to children at a symbolic meeting to emphasize that the future belongs to the new generations.

A group of 50 students from various primary schools across the country visited parliament on Wednesday where they held a symoblic session.

Some of the students who addressed the extraordinary plenary conveyed their views on the country’s outstanding problems and expressed their views about the future of the TRNC.
