Speaking at the event held at Girne Peace Park, President Tatar said he was delighted to come together with children and families across the country at the activities organized as part of the April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children’s Day, a holiday gifted to children by the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

Tatar described the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) as a beautiful country with its natural beauty, culture, art and traditions, and emphasized the importance of passing down traditional games to future generations.

Highlighting the importance of instilling these values in children during their upbringing, Tatar pointed out that the children who gain these values will be the ones who lead the country in the future, saying, “Children are our most precious assets and our greatest treasure.”
