The cost of living for the month of November has been announced and has left consumers in confusion.
The reason for this confusion is the percentage announced by the Statistics Institute which claimed that the inflation rate for November was only a mere 0.78 percent.
According to the “November Consumer Prices Index” published by the Statistics Institute, inflation was 0.78 percent last month, while the change was 51.63 percent compared to December of the previous year.
Compared to the previous month, the average prices of 436 items included in the index have increased, while the average prices of 130 items have decreased.
In terms of main expenditure groups, the highest increase compared to the previous month was in the clothing and footwear main group with 9.98 percent.
The highest decrease in the index compared to the previous month was realized in the restaurants and hotels main group with 5.07 percent.
