The events marking the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Bayrak Radio Television Corporation (BRTK) continue.

Within the scope of the events, a cycling race was held on Sunday morning on the Lefkoşa-Güzelyurt main road under the theme ’60 kilometres in the 60th year’.

A cycling race was organized under the auspices of the Turkish Cypriot Cycling Federation within the scope of the 60th anniversary events of Bayrak Radio Television Corporation.

The race, which was held under the theme ’60 kilometres in the 60th year’, started with a symbolic start in front of the premises of Bayrak Radio Television Corporation.

The race took place on the Lefkoşa-Güzelyurt main road and was completed back at the BRTK premises.

The awards of the winners of the BRT 60th Anniversary Cycling Championship were presented by Chairman of the BRTK Board of Directors Salih Can Doratlı BRTK Director Meryem Özkurt, the President of the Cycling Federation Salih Yalızat, Chairman of the Central Referee Committee of the Cycling Federation Hüseyin Güzoğlu and Ali Erülkü who is the Sponsor of the Cycling Federation.

In the General Classification, Kirill Ermakov came first, Enes Tekkanat came second and Jason Robert Walker came third.

In the Senior Men’s category Soner Akbaş came first, Hamed Paseban came second and İsmet Duran came third.

In the young men’s category Enes Tekkanet came first, Emir Turalı came second and Emre Kaplan came third.

In the Master 1 Men’s category, Jason Robert Walker came first, Ersan Serinyürek second and Hüseyin Esengin third.

In the Master 2 Men’s category, Kirill Ermakov came first, Dzmitry Charvikou came second and Salih Kopça came third.

In the Master 3 Men’s category, Kalender Çelebçi came first, Bilgiç Kanal came second and Bilal Bitirim came third.

In the Master 4 men’s category, Raif Hızal came first and Mehmet Ulaç came second.

In the Master 5 men’s category, Özcan Dağaşanlar came first and Mehmet Gürçimen came second.

Gülen Çelik won first place in the Master 1 women’s category.

In the Star A category, Ege Erülkü came first, Mehmet Çağan Mut came second and Ömer Bülbül came third.
