An evaluation meeting on Cyprus was held yesterday under the chairmanship of President Ersin Tatar at the Presidential Palace.

According to the statement made by the Presidency, Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu, Special Representative to the President Güneş Onar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mustafa Lakadamyalı, Chief Advisor to the President Aydın Akkurt, former Special Representatives Ergün Olgun and Osman Ertuğ and Ambassador to Ankara İsmet Korukoğlu took part in the meeting.

During the meeting, evaluations were made on the Cyprus issue; regional developments and the cooperation initiative put forward by the Turkish Cypriot side were all discussed.
