The Cyprus TMT Freedom Fighters Association has collected financial support for the victims of the February 6 earthquake disaster in Türkiye.

The donations collected by the association were presented to Prime Minister Ünal Üstel on Wednesday by the Association President Celal Bayar

Prime Minister Üstel received the Cyprus TMT Fighters Association headed by Celal Bayar on Wednesday.

Making a few short remarks, Bayar said that they had collected donations for the earthquake victims to assist Türkiye’s recovery efforts.

Prime Minister Ünal Üstel for his part said that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) was among the countries that provided the greatest assistance to Türkiye during its time of need.

He added that this support will continue.

“This is the most concrete indicator of how strong our bond with motherland Türkiye is. Türkiye’s pain is our pain. We stand united in our times of greatest need,” said Üstel.

Pointing out that aid campaigns were still continuing, Üstel thanked the association for its contribution.
