As part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the July 20th Peace and Freedom Day, a Dawn Vigil will be held at Yavuz Çıkarma Beach.

The event, which will include various performances and concerts, will start at 20:30.

The Dawn Vigil will be broadcast live on BRT1.

Within the framework of the 50th Anniversary celebrations of the July 20 Peace and Freedom Day, a Dawn Vigil is being held tonight at the Alsancak Yavuz Çıkarma Beach, where the Peace Operation started.

The Dawn Vigil will begin with everyone gathering at the Yavuz Çıkarma Beach roundabout and then at 8.30 the lantern procession will march to the Yavuz Çıkarma Beach Pier.

According to a statement made by the Security Forces Command, prayers will be recited at the vigil that will start with the lantern procession cortege, the Underwater Attack Commandos will perform, the Security Forces Command Band and the Ministry of National Defense Janissary Band will give a concert.

TRT artists Dünya Tekin, Zafer Albayrak and Gökçe Nur Semerci will give a concert and popular Turkish musician Ferhat Göçer will also take to the stage.

Fireworks and laser shows will also take place at the event which will be broadcast live on BRT1.
