The Meteorology Department has warned of a new dust phenomenon affecting the region.

It called on citizens with sensitivity to be cautious.

According to the statement made by the Meteorology Department, periodic intervals of sparse dust particles blowing in from the Middle East are expected to drift through the atmosphere, with concentrations possibly increasing on Tuesday.

Temperatures will be rising above the seasonal average but will see a drop on Wednesday with the arrival of rainy weather.
