Early voting in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) for Sunday’s presidential and parliamentary elections in Türkiye, will come to an end today.

Turkish citizens can cast their votes at polling stations set up in Lefkoşa and Gazimağusa until 9pm today.

Turkish citizens residing in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) who haven’t yet cast their vote can do so at any of the 23 ballot boxes, 16 in Lefkoşa and 7 in Gazimağusa.

The polling stations set up at the Atatürk Sports Hall in Lefkoşa and the Lala Mustafa Paşa Sports Hall in Gazimağusa are open between 9am and 9pm.

Normal elections in Türkiye are set to take place this Sunday, May 14.

A second round of voting will take place if any of the presidential candidates fail to win a simple majority of the votes.
