14 trucks carrying educational materials for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) within the scope of the “Türkiye-TRNC Hand in Hand to Go Forward” project organized under the auspices of the Turkish Presidency arrived at Gazimağusa Port on Sunday.

The trucks were welcomed by Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Metin Feyzioğlu and the Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu.

The Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu stressed that they were very happy that Türkiye provides all kinds of support within the framework of the cooperation between Türkiye and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and that it was of great importance for the rapid rise of education in the country.

Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Metin Feyzioğlu for his part stated that today was the day when Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s strategy that “there is only one valid law between the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Türkiye, and that is the law of brotherhood” is realized.

Underlining that Türkiye cannot be without the TRNC and the TRNC cannot exist without Türkiye, Feyzioğlu said “we are strong together. There are two Turkish states in this geography and these two Turkish states will live side by side, shoulder to shoulder forever.”
