Energy on the agenda of Minister Amcaoğlu’s visit in Ankara

The Minister of Economy and Energy Olgun Amcaoğlu is continuing with his contacts in the Turkish capital Ankara.

Amcaoğlu came together with the Turkish Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat and Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar respectively within the framework of his contacts.

The Minister of Economy and Energy Olgun Amcaoğlu met with the Turkish Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat.

During the meeting Bolat said that he will be visiting the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) in the near future.

Amcaoğlu then came together with Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar and discussed a variety of issues.

Important topics were discussed during the delegation meeting.

The importance of interconnectivity for the TRNC and initiatives taken towards this end by the Turkish Ministry of Energy were discussed.

Energy cuts experienced throughout the TRNC and steps that can be taken to overcome these issues were also discussed during the meeting.

The delegation has also taken a decision to carry out the necessary work towards green energy which is being implemented by the European Union and the UN in international countries.

They will work to complete the legal infrastructure so that the TRNC can take on a leading role and become better known.
