Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment, Fikri Ataoğlu, has announced a special initiative for families during the upcoming semester break.
From February 3 to February 14, all museums and archaeological sites across the country will be open to families free of charge.
In a statement addressing the initiative, Minister Ataoğlu said: “We aim to make the holiday period enjoyable and culturally enriching for children and their families.
As part of this effort, we are offering free access to museums and historical sites under the Department of Antiquities and Museums throughout the semester break. Our goal is to provide families with a meaningful cultural experience.”
The initiative is designed to enhance the historical and cultural awareness of younger generations, encouraging them to connect with the nation’s heritage. Minister Ataoğlu extended an invitation to all families with children to take advantage of this unique opportunity.
During the semester break, families can explore historical and cultural landmarks within their districts as outlined by the Department of Antiquities and Museums.
