It was a busy week for Ercan Airport during the New Year with the airport serving more than 43,241 passengers.

The airport saw a total of 345 flights, 172 of which were outbound.

According to a statement from T&T Airport Services, a total of 345 flights landed and took off from Ercan Airport on the days leading to New Year’s day and the week following.

86 planes landed on the first day of the New Year carrying a total of 9,674 passengers.

There were no problems experienced at the airport due to precautionary measures taken in advance.
