Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the Extraordinary Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), by referring to the observer membership of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) to the organization.
He also emphasized that Türkiye will continue its struggle for the recognition of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and for the lifting of the restrictions that the Turkish Cypriots are being exposed to.

In his speech at the summit, Erdoğan emphasized that with the Summit, they will once again demonstrate that the Turkic world is united.
Explaining that the summit was held under the motto “our unity is our strength”, Turkish President Erdoğan said, “Our family assembly has now become stronger with the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus joining us.”
“As an organization, we have embodied our strong and determined support to the Turkish Cypriot people,” Erdoğan said and added that they will continue their struggle for the recognition of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and for the removal of the unjust restrictions imposed against the Turkish Cypriot people.
