Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu on Monday briefed students from the Newcastle University on the Cyprus issue.

Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu came together with a group of students from the “Political Geography Department” of the Newcastle University in the United Kingdom on Monday.

The Foreign Minister gave a briefing on the Cyprus issue to the Newcastle University delegation consisting of 33 students and academics at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Uğur Umar Conference Hall.

Welcoming the students to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and the TRNC Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ertuğruloğlu briefed the group on the history of the Cyprus issue, the rightful stance of the Turkish Cypriot side and the current progress.

Foreign Minister Ertuğruloğlu also answered the questions of the students during the briefing that lasted for about 2 hours.
