Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu received the head of the Cyprus TMT Fighters Association Celal Bayar and his accompanying delegation that consisted of members of the board of directors.

According to a statement made by the Foreign Ministry, Foreign Minister Ertuğruloğlu reminded that the TMT was established to protect the Turkish Cypriot people against the attacks of the Greek Cypriot terrorist organization EOKA and to protect their rights and interests on the island.

Ertuğruloğlu noted that the TMT played an important role in the Turkish Cypriot people establishing their state and where they have come to today.
