Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu made a statement regarding the Greek Cypriot Administration granting permission to the PYD that is the political arm of the terrorist organisation the PKK to open a representative office in South Cyprus.

In his statement, Ertuğruloğlu said, “We are not surprised that the murderers with bloody hands are in solidarity.”

He also emphasized that the Turkish nation is not the enemy of anyone, but that it knows very well how to teach those who are hostile towards it a lesson.

“The Greek Cypriot administration, which bloodied the island by mass murdering the Turkish Cypriots in Cyprus, is a supporter of terrorism and is continuing with its provocative initiatives” said Ertuğruloğlu and noted that the Greek Cypriot authorities announced through the Greek Cypriot media that it has given permission to the PYD, which is the political arm of the terrorist organisation the PKK to open a representative office in South Cyprus.

“It is obvious that this provocative initiative of the Greek Cypriot Administration, which is a member of the European Union, will not serve peace in our region and in the Eastern Mediterranean” said Ertuğruloğlu.

He also stated that he wanted to see what stance the European Union will take against its member that is protecting a terrorist organization.

Warning that the Greek Cypriot administration, which allowed the opening of a representative office of a terrorist organisation in South Cyprus which is involved in all kinds of hostile activities against Turkey, is playing with fire, Ertuğruloğlu said “the PKK terrorist Çerkez Korkmaz, who was brought to the head of the so-called representative office, praised the support provided by South Cyprus”.

He said by praising South Cyprus’ support he has once again revealed how the Greek Cypriot administration supported the terrorist organization PKK in the past.

“If they had called the so-called association ‘Greek Cypriot-PKK Solidarity Association’, it would have been an expression of the truth” said Ertuğruloğlu.

Noting that both the Greek Cypriots and the PKK have bloody hands as they are the murderers of innocent Turkish people, women, children, young and old Ertuğruloğlu said that he has deciphered that the two sides, which he describes as ‘killers with bloody hands’, are actually working in solidarity.

“They should know what is coming their way due to the order they have established. The Turkish nation is no one’s enemy, but if anyone is hostile towards them they are prepared to teach them a lesson.” Said Ertuğruloğlu and added that at a time when Turkey is taking firm steps towards becoming a global power beyond being a regional power in this geography, it is no surprise that such evil steps have been taken.

“Let them think of the consequences” he said.
