The evacuation of Turkish and TRNC citizens from Gaza continues. Most recently, 107 evacuees were transported from Cairo to Istanbul Airport via a Turkish Airlines flight.

Through the operation conducted in collaboration between the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Türkiye’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), 107 Turkish and TRNC citizens who crossed from the Rafah Border Crossing to Egypt were transported from its capital city, Cairo, to Istanbul Airport via a Turkish Airlines flight.

Officials from the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and AFAD welcomed the Turkish and TRNC citizens at the airport.

After passport control, some individuals left the airport on their own, while TRNC citizens and those residing in other cities were taken to hotels allocated by AFAD with buses.

It was announced that the evacuation of Turkish and TRNC citizens from Gaza will continue.
