The first semester of the 2024-2025 academic year, which started on September 23, 2024, has come to an end.

Report cards were given today in schools affiliated to the Department of Primary Education, General Secondary Education Department and Vocational Technical Education Department.

Approximately 62 thousand students studying in schools affiliated to the Primary Education Department, General Secondary Education Department and Vocational Technical Education Department received their report cards today.

The semester break, which will start on February 1, will end on February 16.

Students and teachers will start the second semester on Monday, February 17.

According to the information given by the Ministry of National Education, approximately 28 thousand students are studying in 128 schools affiliated to the Primary Education Department, approximately 30 thousand students are studying in 48 schools affiliated to the General Secondary Education Department and approximately 4 thousand vocational high school students are studying in 13 schools affiliated to the Vocational Technical Education Department.

In addition, approximately 450 students are receiving education in Apprenticeship and Adult Education Centers, while 6,300 teachers are working in public and private schools across the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
