Feyzioğlu visits Maraş

The Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Metin Feyzioğlu said that Türkiye always stood by its citizens and Turkish Cypriots.

He was speaking during a visit to Maraş on Sunday.

The Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Metin Feyzioğlu came together with the President of the Gazimağusa Greenhouse Association Veli Bayır, the President of the Gazimağusa Tradesmen and Craftsmen Union Hacı Mahmut Koruk, the President of the Maraş Union and Solidarity Association Ufuk Özel, the President of the Yörük Turkmen Association Ferit Ergün and the people living in the area.

The existing problems of the associations were taken up and solutions were discussed during the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, Feyzioğlu said that Türkiye always stood by its citizens and Turkish Cypriots.

“Our citizens are entrusted to us,” he said

During his visit to Maraş, Feyzioğlu was accompanied by the Coordinator of the Development and Coordination Office (KEİ) Ömer Cihan, the Turkish Embassy’s Ministry of Youth and Sports Coordinator Mithat Tekçam, the Coordinator of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) Havva Pınar Küçükçavuş, the Highways Directorate Cyprus Affairs Coordinator Aykut Mutlu, Turkish State Hydraulic Works Directorate TRNC Project Manager Yusuf Şahin and experts from relevant institutions as well regional mukhtars.
