Minister of Finance Özdemir Berova, who was accompanying Prime Minister Ünal Üstel during an official visit to Ankara, met with his Turkish counterpart Mehmet Şimşek.

During the visit, which took place at the Turkish Ministry of Treasury and Finance, consultations were held on financial issues between the two countries.

Berova stated that they had the opportunity to talk in detail about “tax justice, increasing the share allocated to investments in the budget, revenue-raising measures, public expenditure savings and digitalization in the public sector”.
