Finance Minister Özdemir Berova received the President of the Turkish World Mediators Association Yakup Erikel and the accompanying delegation from Türkiye Mediators and Azerbaijan Mediasiya Shura.

Speaking during the visit the president of the Turkish World Mediators Association Yakup Erikel said that their aim is to undertake mediation in the international law studies of the countries within the Organization of Turkic States.

Minister Berova for his part emphasized the importance of developing relations within the framework of the Turkic World.

He stated that it is pleasing that Turkish World Mediators Association, which has put forward an important intention in the field of international mediation and has taken steps towards this, sees the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) as a party to these steps.

Stating that the interest and kindness Azerbaijan has shown to the TRNC in recent years is very pleasing, Berova noted that this has also strengthened relations.
