Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu made important statements at the meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation held in Istanbul. During the meeting on the topic of Israel-Palestine, Ertuğruloğlu emphasized that the issue in Gaza can only be resolved through a two-state solution.

The meeting was organized by the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye’s Directorate of Communications under the theme “Disinformation Activities and Attacks on Journalists and Media Organizations of the Occupying Israeli Administration in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.”

In his speech, Ertuğruloğlu pointed out that with the advancement of technology, the widespread use of digitalization, the proliferation of news sources, and consequently, the increase in perception management, disinformation, and manipulation have also increased.

He stated that the Israeli government employed this method to conceal the war crimes it commits in Gaza and divert the attention of the international public opinion to a different direction.

Ertuğruloğlu also emphasized that the issue in Gaza could only be resolved through a two-state solution.

In the meantime, Minister Ertuğruloğlu also met with Fahrettin Altun, the Communications Director of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, and Sidi Mohamed Raliou, the Minister of Communications, Post, and Digital Economy of Niger on the sidelines of the meeting.
