Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu is in Ankara to attend the extraordinary summit of leaders of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

Within the framework of his contacts in Ankara, Foreign Minister Ertuğruloğlu met with his Turkish counterpart Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.

Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu on Wednesday met with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu ahead of the extraordinary summit of leaders of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

According to information given by the Ministry, during the meeting, the preparations for the Extraordinary Summit of the Organization of Turkic States, of which the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) is an observer member and issues on the agenda, were discussed.

In a tweet, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said they discussed the preparations and the agenda of Thursday’s extraordinary summit of the OTS.

He recalled that the TRNC had joined the organization as an observer state. “Turkish Cypriots are an integral part of the Turkic world,” Çavuşoğlu said in his tweet.
