Friendship groups set up with five Turkic parliaments

The establishment of friendship groups between the Republic’s Assembly and the parliaments of Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan was unanimously approved by the TRNC parliament on Monday.

Members of the friendship groups were also determined at the General Assembly.

The establishment of friendship groups between the Republic’s Assembly and the Parliaments of Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijani was unanimously approved during the General Assembly of the TRNC Parliament on Monday.

The friendship groups are composed of the following names:

The friendship group with the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan is made up of Resmiye Eroğlu Canaltay, Oğuzhan Hasipoğlu, Hasan Küçük from the National Unity Party (UBP); Filiz Besim and Erkut Şahali from the Republican Turkish Party (CTP); Serhat Akpınar from the Democrat Party (DP) and Talip Atalay from the Rebirth Party (YDP).

The friendship group with the Parliament of Turkmenistan consists of UBP MPs Resmiye Eroğlu Canaltay, Ali Pilli and Ahmet Savaşan; CTP MPs Filiz Besim and Erkut Şahali; DP MP Hasan Tosunoğlu and YDP MP Talip Atalay.

The TRNC-Uzbekistan Parliamentary friendship group is made up of UBP MPs Özdemir Berova, Kutlu Evren and Fırtına Karanfil, CTP MPs Filiz Besim and Erkut Şahali, DP MP Serhat Akpınar and YDP MP Talip Atalay.

The friendship group with the Azerbaijani Parliament consists of UBP MPs Resmiye Eroğlu Canaltay, Yasemin Öztür and Ahmet Savaşan; Filiz Besim and Erkut Şahali from the CTP; Hasan Tosunoğlu from the DP and Talip Atalay from the YDP.

The Kazakhstan-TRNC Parliamentary Friendship group is made up of UBP MPs Resmiye Eroğlu Canaltay, Hasan Küçük and Emrah Yeşilırmak; CTP MPs Filiz Besim and Erkut Şahali, DP MP Serhat Akpınar and YDP MP Talip Atalay.
