The Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Fuat Oktay, who visited London, the capital of the UK, met with the Türkiye and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Friendship Groups in the UK Parliament.

The Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Fuat Oktay made evaluations to the press after his 2-day visit to the UK.

Oktay stated that they held intensive meetings in London, and that on the first day of the visit, they held meetings at the British Parliament, and on the second day, they met with representatives of non-governmental organizations.

He said that they also met with the Friendship Group for Türkiye and the Friendship Group for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in the UK Parliament.

Oktay stated that at both of these meetings, they discussed the resolution of the Cyprus issue and the lifting of the embargoes.
