The Minister of Labour and Social Security Sadık Gardiyanoğlu, is continuing his contacts in the Turkish capital Ankara.

Gardiyanoğlu’s latest meetings focused on employment projects.

As part of his meetings with Turkish officials, the Minister of Labour and Social Security Sadık Gardiyanoğlu paid a working visit to the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) General Directorate in which he held a meeting with General Director Samet Güneş, Deputy General Directors, employment directors, and technical experts.

During the meeting, Minister Gardiyanoğlu expressed that there have been difficulties in the labour market of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) following the earthquake in Türkiye and an influx of labourers from third-world countries to the TRNC.

He also stated their intention to make use of the potential of İŞKUR.

İŞKUR General Director Samet Güneş for his part expressed his pride in assisting the TRNC and Minister Gardiyanoğlu, highlighting their readiness to provide all kinds of support in software, technical, and employment expertise to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
