The Disaster Relief Task Force of the Cyprus Turkish Security Forces Command continues its efforts to help Türkiye recover from the devastating earthquake disaster.

The Disaster Relief Task Force of the Cyprus Turkish Security Forces Command has been actively taking part in recovery efforts in Antakya’s city centre, districts and villages since February 9.

A written statement issued by the Cyprus Turkish Security Forces Command’s Press Office stated that the aid needed by earthquake victims in the area was being distributed in coordination with the civil authorities.

It added that a soup kitchen had also been set up at Antakya’s Small Industry Zone.

The statement also added “our earthquake relief efforts have been carried out with the same effort, energy and discipline since the day we set foot in Türkiye.”
