The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) is continuing to support relief efforts for earthquake victims in Türkiye.

Personnel from the Cyprus Turkish Security Forces Disaster Assistance Team continue to assist recovery efforts in areas destroyed by the earthquake.

The Turkish National Defence Ministry posted a photograph on social media of a female member of the Cyprus Turkish Security Forces task force holding a child in her arms.

“Like the love of a mother….We are continuing to work with all our means and strength in the earthquake affected areas, to look after our children who are our future. The spirit of solidarity,” read the comment underneath the photograph.

The picture was also shared by President Ersin Tatar.
