Government partners are visiting Ankara for official contacts…

Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, along with government partners Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu, and Minister of Public Works and Transportation Erhan Arıklı, are conducting an official working visit to Ankara today.

According to information from the Prime Ministry, Prime Minister Üstel and his delegation, who will meet with Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz in Ankara, are planning to hold some working meetings regarding ongoing projects.

Prior to the visit, Prime Minister Üstel stated that they continue to maintain relations between the TRNC and the Republic of Türkiye at the highest level based on mutual love, respect, trust, and cooperation.

He reminded that there are still many ongoing joint projects alongside projects based on cooperation and stated that they would hold working meetings regarding these projects during their Ankara visit.

“In our meetings, we will discuss processes related to topics such as economy, transportation, education, tourism, and agriculture and carry out the necessary coordination work together,” he said.

Prime Minister Üstel also made statements regarding current issues in the country.

Stating that they are closely monitoring the investigations initiated at an educational institution in the country, the Prime Minister emphasized that the security aspect of the activities of domestic or foreign institutions in the country is of utmost importance to them.

Asserting that they will never turn a blind eye to activities such as human trafficking, regardless of who is involved, the Prime Minister said they will not forgive anyone who threatens the people, borders, and security.
