The 46th Güzelyurt Orange Festival starts on Monday, June 24.

The festival, which will last until Sunday, June 30, will include concerts by Turkish and local singers, a children’s festival and many other events.

The festival will kickstart with a cortege.

According to the statement released by the Güzelyurt Municipality, teams from Türkiye and abroad who were invited to the event, schools, culture and arts associations, institutions, organizations, non-governmental organizations, sports clubs and animator teams will participate in the cortege that will start at 6.30pm in front of Kurtuluş Primary School.

During the cortege and in the city center, performances will take place in front of the Güzelyurt Kapalı Çarşı (covered bazaar).

Events within the 46th Güzelyurt Orange Festival will continue at the Festival Park throughout the night.

At 8.30pm on the opening night of the 46th Güzelyurt Orange Festival, there will be dance performances and a concert by the Samida music group at the Amphitheater.

On the same night, Group Otantik, which perform Cypriot cultural songs, will give a concert at 10.30pm at the Festival Park square.

In line with the 46th Güzelyurt Orange Festival a children’s festival and backgammon tournament will also be realized and during the childrens festival all food and drink stands will be free of charge.
