High concentrations of dust are in the air again next five days, the Meteorology Department has announced.

The phenomenon caused by a hot air mass from the Middle East is expected to subside on Monday, August 21.

The public, particularly vulnerable groups (children, older people and the infirm) are urged to avoid circulating outdoors until dust levels drop, as the small size of respirable particles present in the air may have negative effects on health.
