Rain and maybe even the odd isolated storm is expected to hit large parts of Cyprus at some point on Friday.
Downpours have been forecast for Troodos mountains, inland areas, and coastal areas in the western half of the island, with the rest of the day expected to be partly cloudy.
Temperatures are still set to rise to a high of 27 degrees Celsius inland and on the coasts, and 17 degrees Celsius in the mountains, with heightened amounts of dust to be present in the atmosphere.
The dust is expected to subside by Saturday afternoon.
All vulnerable groups are advised to avoid spending long periods of time outdoors.
Overnight, the skies will clear up, though the possibility of clouds, rain, and storms will remain over parts of the island.
Temperatures will drop to 15 degrees Celsius inland, 18 degrees Celsius on the west and north coasts, a balmy 20 degrees Celsius on the east coast, and 10 degrees Celsius in the mountains.
Localised rain and isolated storms will be the order of the day through the weekend, with hailstones not ruled out.
Isolated showers will then return on Monday afternoon.
