The Meteorology Department issued another warning for vulnerable groups on Tuesday citing high concentration of dust in the air as temperatures rise to 33C, slightly above the seasonal average.

The public, particularly the elderly, children and those with respiratory conditions, are urged to avoid going outdoors.

For the second day in a row, the Meteorology department warned of high levels of dust in the atmosphere on Tuesday morning.

Temperatures will remain in the mid 30s until Thursday, following a slight drop towards the weekend.

Vulnerable groups are urged to avoid circulating in open spaces until the dust subsides, as the small size of respirable particles may pose a health hazard.

Employers must take appropriate measures after assessing any risks that their employees may face while working on Tuesday, with light showers expected on Friday and Saturday.
