Higher Coordination Council convenes for high-level meeting

The Higher Coordination Council which consists of the country’s top brass convened under the leadership of President Ersin Tatar at the Presidential Palace on Friday.

The meeting held in four sessions was attended by Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, the Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Metin Feyzioğlu, the Commander of the Turkish Peace Forces in Cyprus Major General Sezai Öztürk, the Commander of the Cyprus Turkish Security Forces Zorlu Topaloğlu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu, the Minister of Finance Alişan Şan, the Minister of Interior Ziya Öztürkler, the Minister of Economy and Energy Olgun Amcaoğlu, the Minister of Public Works and Transportation Erhan Arıklı, the Deputy Chief of Police Kasım Kuni, the President’s Special Representative Ergün Olgun, Presidential Coordinator for the Bicommunal Technical Committees Güneş Onar as well as other undersecretaries and experts.
