Having signed a cooperation protocol with the European University of Lefke in the past months, officials from the Arabaev Kyrgyz State University are in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) to develop this cooperation.

The Minister of Public Works and Transportation Erhan Arıklı received Arabaev Kyrgyz State University Rector Prof. Dr. Aigul Abdeaeva and his accompanying delegation that are in the TRNC at the invitation of the European University of Lefke.

A cooperation protocol between the Arabaev Kyrgyz State University, which is the second largest state university in Kyrgyzstan with 45,000 students, and European University of Lefke (EUL) was signed in May.

Minister Arıklı expressed his pleasure in welcoming Prof. Dr. Aigul Abdeaeva, the Rector of Arabaev Kyrgyz State University, and her team to the country to strengthen this cooperation.

Prof. Dr. Abdeaeva mentioned that they have been closely following the progress of EUL’s education levels and that they will continue to work on enhancing the cooperation between the two institutions.

EUL Rector Mehmet Ali Yükselen stated that they will continue their collaborations through student exchange programs and aim to develop further collaborations, especially in the health-related departments, with student and academician exchange programs in the future.
