Minister of Interior Dursun Oğuz has emphasized the importance of local administrations in cooperation between Türkiye and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

The Minister of Interior Dursun Oğuz on Wednesday received the Mayor of Çorum Halil İbrahim Aşgın and his accompanying delegation which consist of members of the Municipal Council, mukhtars and 1974 Cyprus veterans.

Welcoming the delegation, Oğuz emphasized the importance of local governments in the cooperation that exists between their respective countries, stating that such collaborations will contribute to increasing participation in social and cultural activities as well as work carried out in the fields of infrastructure.
