The TÜRKSOY International Theatre Awards, coordinated by the Culture Department which is affiliated to the Deputy Prime Ministry, Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment, were presented to the winners in Istanbul.

Turkish Cypriot theater actress Ayla Haşmetli was awarded in the category of “Best Female Theatre Actress of the Turkish World.”

The TÜRKSOY International Theatre Award was given to successful theatre artists from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Türkiye and the TRNC in various categories.
