Israel’s attacks and massacres in Palestine continue unabated.

Palestine has called for an international resolution to stop Israel’s genocide in Gaza.

Israel, which has intensified its attacks, passed a law in its Parliament that allows the imprisonment of Palestinian children under the age of 14.

Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa has urged the United Nations Security Council to adopt a resolution that would force Israel to end the genocide in the Gaza Strip.

Speaking at a preparatory meeting in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, ahead of the Extraordinary Joint Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League, Mustafa said, “It is necessary to submit a draft resolution to the Security Council under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter to compel the occupying power, Israel, to agree to a ceasefire in Gaza, ensure the immediate entry of humanitarian aid, and enforce the relevant Security Council resolutions.”

Stressing the importance of working together, taking practical steps, and applying sanctions to end Israel’s “illegal occupation” of Palestinian territories, Mustafa highlighted the significance of supporting President Mahmoud Abbas’ efforts and vision for holding an international conference for peace.

The Palestinian Prime Minister also called for the Security Council to present a draft resolution for Palestine to gain full membership in the UN and to implement this resolution swiftly after the summit, as well as to take steps to suspend Israel’s participation in the UN General Assembly.

Meanwhile, the Israeli Parliament, the Knesset, passed a law allowing the imprisonment of Palestinian children under the age of 14.

According to a statement from the Knesset, the law includes a “temporary regulation for five years,” stating that “if individuals under the age of 14 commit an offense considered murder or a terrorist act, they can be held in a closed facility, and after turning 14, they will continue to serve their sentence in prison.”

In addition, the Knesset approved another bill granting the Interior Minister the authority to deport the families of Palestinians involved in any acts against Israelis to the besieged Gaza Strip or other locations.
