Israel’s attacks on Gaza continue to escalate.

While there were signals of a new humanitarian ceasefire mediated by Qatar, nearly a hundred Palestinians were killed in an Israeli attack on the Jabaliya Refugee Camp in the Gaza Strip on Sunday

At least 18,800 Palestinians, including 8,000 children and 6,200 women, have been killed in Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip.

Israel has stepped up its bombardment of Gaza, the Israeli army announced that 200 targets were hit in the last 24 hours.

One of the places hit was the Jabaliya Refugee Camp in northern Gaza.

Nearly a hundred civilians were killed in the attack and many others were reported missing.

It was stated that dozens of houses in the area were bombed, causing great destruction, and civil defense teams pulled more than 30 bodies from under the rubble.

On the other hand, it was reported that about 40 bodies were recovered from another house targeted by the Israeli airstrike in the Et-Tuffah neighborhood of Gaza City, and many people escaped with injuries.

The army also targeted Kemal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip and Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis city with artillery fire, killing several people.

Gaza has been without telephone and internet service for four days.

Palestinian officials said this hampered search and rescue efforts after the bombardment.

The wounded were said to be trapped under the rubble.

On the other hand, the Israeli army killed 1 more journalist in its attacks on Gaza. Since October 7, the number of journalists killed in Israeli attacks has risen to 95.

There are also new developments on the diplomatic front.

Israel announced that its head of intelligence, David Barnea, met with Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdurrahman Al Thani on Friday.

Qatar announced that diplomatic efforts are underway to renew the humanitarian ceasefire.

Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu confirms that new negotiations are taking place.

However, Hamas said, “We are against negotiations on swaps until the attacks on Gaza stop.”
