The cost of living for January has been announced.

January inflation was 2.02 percent, according to the Statistics Institute.

According to the General Index of Consumer Prices, prices increased by 2.02 percent compared to the previous month and by 50.61 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.

Among the main expenditure groups, the highest price increase in January compared to the previous month was recorded in the communication group with 11.52 percent.

Clothing and footwear group decreased by 0.86 percent.
