The General Assembly of parliament convened today (Monday) to fulfill its legislative duty.

The parliament convened under the chairmanship of the Parliamentary Speaker Zorlu Töre.

Prior to moving on to the agenda at parliament, the Parliamentry Speaker Zorlu Töre read the joint declaration signed by all parties and independent MPs condemning Israel’s terror and attacks against the Palestinian people.

Israel’s attacks were condemned and support was expressed for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.

Each party leader took to the podium and expressed their views regarding the atrocities that are taking place in Gaza.
